Care Assistant

Location: Shoreham by Sea, BN43 6LT, UK

This casual, part-time Bank Care Assistant position offers flexible working patterns to provide cover as and when required, such as for annual leave or sick leave. The role involves assisting residents with daily living activities, providing support and companionship, and ensuring each resident receives quality, compassionate care. Working days and hours will vary based on the needs of the care home.

Duties:

• Assist with daily living activities
• Provide support and companionship to residents
• Support residents with food and drink
• Follow individual care plans
• Ensure residents receive one-to-one time

Requirements:

• Previous experience in caring for older people
• Excellent communication skills
• A can-do approach and empathy
• Compassionate nature
• Successful completion of a Disclosure and Barring Service check
