Barista

Trading Post Coffee Roasters is seeking a skilled Barista with attention to detail, efficiency, and a genuine passion for coffee. The role involves preparing specialty espresso, operating professional coffee machinery, and delivering high-quality hospitality in a busy environment. Joining the team offers opportunities to advise customers on coffee blends and contribute to a fast-paced coffee house.

Duties:

• Dial in grinders for all blends and single origins to the brand standard
• Open and close down the coffee section independently
• Maintain the standard speed of service, coffee quality, and overall consistency in a fast-paced environment
• Pour basic latte art and maintain an understanding of alternative milks
• Learn and assist across all working aspects of the venue as part of the team
• Consistently deliver great hospitality within the hospitality standards framework

Requirements:

• Strong barista skills with experience in a high-volume, quality coffee environment
• Ability to serve specialty espresso and pour expertly steamed milk
• Excellent communication, multi-tasking, time-management, and problem-solving skills
• Eligibility to work in the UK or a valid UK work permit/visa
