Supervisor

Location: 13-14 Sydney St, Brighton BN1 4EN, UK

Seeking a Supervisor to join the team at Trading Post Coffee Roasters. The role involves helping to run the Coffee House on a day-to-day basis and supporting the management team to deliver an amazing guest experience, exceed targets, and engage the team. Ideal candidates demonstrate a strong team attitude and confidence in leading the front-of-house team with passion and energy.

Duties:

• Support the management team in the running of a high-volume and fast-paced coffee house
• Embody and possess a full understanding of the Trading Post hospitality standards and key points of service
• Consistently deliver great hospitality with huge personality within the hospitality standards framework
• Actively support a busy front-of-house team and engage and communicate effectively with an equally busy back-of-house team
• Support in the development of front-of-house team members and deliver training where required
• Support in the recruitment and onboarding of new team members into your Coffee House
• Motivate all team members to deliver their best selves at all times

Requirements:

• Strong leadership skills
• Drive for continuous development and improvement
• Excellent communication skills to enable effective dialogue with team members and guests
• Ability to use initiative to problem solve and work well under pressure
• Dedicated team-player, leading by example with an 'all in this together' attitude
• Excellent time-management and prioritisation skills
• Must be eligible to work in the UK or hold a valid UK work permit/visa
