Salaried GP

Location: Ardingly Court Surgery, 1 Ardingly Street, Kemptown, Brighton, BN2 1SS, UK

Seeking a Salaried GP to join a friendly inner-city NHS GP practice in Brighton for 2-3 sessions per week. Working patterns ideally include 2 sessions all day Thursday on a 6-month fixed-term contract, plus 1 permanent session ideally on Monday (AM or PM). Offers manageable patient lists, administrative workflow support, and leave in line with BMA salaried contracts.

Duties:

• Provide high-quality patient care including surgery, telephone, and video consultations, as well as home visits.
• Liaise with team members and external organizations, responding promptly to queries.
• Investigate and refer patients as appropriate while dealing promptly with results and correspondence.
• Generate, check, and sign acute and repeat prescriptions in line with practice policy.
• Collect data for audit and QOF purposes and attend required clinical governance and educational meetings.

Requirements:

• Vocationally trained and accredited GP, preferably MRCGP, with current GMC registration and UK professional registration.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
• IT proficiency and familiarity with primary care clinical systems (EMIS).
• Subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
