Customer Assistant - Food

Location: Brighton, East Sussex, UK

Seeking a Customer Assistant to join the Food section at M&S in Brighton. The role involves providing customer service, filling shelves, and driving sales growth in a busy retail environment. Working pattern includes Sunday 17:00 - 21:00, Monday 18:00 - 22:00, and Thursday 18:00 - 22:00.

Duties:

• Deliver fast-paced customer service and assist shoppers in the food department.
• Confidently recommend and sell M&S food products.
• Serve customers, fill stock on shelves, and help drive growth in sales.
• Utilise digital tools such as the Sparks App and in-store devices to assist customers.
• Adapt to working across various areas of the store as needed.

• Strong digital confidence using company devices and software.
