Retail Customer Service

Location: Brighton & Hove, UK

An opportunity to deliver top customer service and drive daily standards in a dynamic betting shop environment. Joining the shop team involves serving customers, building relationships, and managing transactions. The 20-hour weekly rota consists of a blend of long opening or closing shifts and shorter evening shifts between 8am and 10pm, Monday to Sunday including weekends and bank holidays.

Duties:

• Deliver outstanding customer service.
• Always urge safer gambling.
• Take bets on different sports and events.
• Process customer transactions including cash handling.
• Help demonstrate products and betting terminals to customers.
• Handle customer complaints or concerns with empathy and problem-solving skills.
• Work towards defined targets.
• Maintain high shop standards.
• Open or close the shop.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or over.
• Previous work in a customer-facing setting.
• Confidence working with customers in person.
• Familiarity with cash handling and payment transactions.
