Key Holder

The Milk Shed is an independent coffee roastery specialising in dessert-inspired drinks and freshly baked New York-style stuffed cookies. Seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Key Holder to play a vital role in supporting daily store operations on a casual basis, including store opening and closing duties. The position involves supporting store management, assisting with team leadership, and ensuring high standards of service and coffee preparation.

Duties:

• Opening and closing the store, setting up for service, handling cash, and securing the premises.
• Delivering an outstanding experience to every customer while upholding company service standards.
• Supporting and motivating the team to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
• Assisting with stock management, health and safety compliance, and maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Handling customer concerns, resolving issues efficiently, and escalating when necessary.
• Confidently preparing and serving high-quality coffee and food with consistency and speed.
• Processing transactions accurately and supporting end-of-day reporting.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a hospitality, café, or retail environment.
• Experience in a supervisory or key holder role is preferred.
• Passion for great coffee, food, and customer service.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
• Food hygiene and safety awareness.
