Chef Manager

Location: Peter Gladwin Primary School, Brighton, UK

Seeking a Chef Manager at Peter Gladwin Primary School in Brighton to ensure future generations are provided with nutritionally balanced and tasty food. This term-time only role offers flexibility with no weekend work, operating Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 2pm.

Duties:

• Prepare, cook, and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client
• Ensure the site complies with statutory and company Health and Safety, Food Safety, and environmental legislation
• Maintain high standards of food and service quality to consistently exceed client and customer expectations
• Manage day-to-day operations, including team supervision, inventory management, budget monitoring, and action plans
• Act as the main point of contact for the client, recommending and implementing adjustments and improvements
• Communicate regularly with the line manager to monitor KPIs and financial targets
• Train, support, and lead the team to ensure performance targets and standards are met
