Support, Time & Recovery (STR) Worker

Location: Community Mental Health Centre, Brighton General Hospital, Elm Grove, Brighton, BN2 3EW, UK

Seeking a highly motivated and skilled Band 4 Support, Time & Recovery (STR) Worker to join the Neighbourhood Mental Health Team. The role involves supporting lead practitioners with a small but complex caseload within a multi-disciplinary mental health service. Operating on a part-time schedule with flexible working opportunities.

Duties:

• Supporting Lead Practitioners with their caseload of patients.
• Undertaking duty tasks including supporting patients in crisis and with medication related matters.
• Assisting with the running of patient groups.
• Providing long-term social and practical support to service users by building long-term relationships.

Requirements:

• NVQ 3 or equivalent, combined with a commitment to undertake continuing personal development.
• Experience of working with people with mental health problems.
• Subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
