Customer Assistant Food

Location: Brighton, UK

Seeking a Customer Assistant in the Food section to deliver fast-paced customer service and support store growth. The role operates on a 2-week rota with Week 1 working Wednesday (10:00 - 18:00), Thursday and Friday (12:30 - 20:30), and Saturday (08:30 - 16:30), and Week 2 working Sunday (10:00 - 18:00) and Wednesday through Friday (12:30 - 20:30). The successful candidate will act as a resilient brand ambassador, maintaining product knowledge and driving sales in a busy store environment.

Duties:

• Serve, sell, fill shelves, and assist in driving growth in sales
• Confidently recommend and sell food products to customers
• Utilise digital tools such as Sparks and in-store devices to enhance customer experience
• Adapt flexibly to work across various areas of the store as needed

• Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced retail environment
• Digital confidence using store devices and applications
• Strong team-player attitude and flexibility across changing demands
