Trading Assistant

Location: Lewes Road Store, Brighton, BN2 3QA

Seeking a Trading Assistant to join the store team in Lewes Road, Brighton. The role involves working overnight shifts in a fast-paced and physical environment to ensure store shelves are set up brilliantly for customers. Working patterns include overnight shifts, with a nightshift premium paid for hours worked between midnight and 5am.

Duties:

• Collecting stock from the warehouse using heavy roll cages up to 15kg to replenish items across the store
• Keeping shelves clean, tidy, and full of well-presented products
• Assisting customers with questions and offering help when the store is open
• Date checking fresh produce and grocery products
• Helping across the store and supporting with deliveries as required

Requirements:

• Minimum age of 18 due to working hours and handling restricted goods
• Right to Work eligibility in the UK
• Comfortable working overnight in a fast-paced, physical, high-energy environment
• Friendly, welcoming, and customer-focused attitude
• Comfortable learning and using digital tools and technology
