Retail Sales Advisor

Location: Hove, UK

Seeking a Retail Sales Advisor to join DFS in Hove on a part‑time 20‑hour weekly schedule. The role offers flexible store hours, covering weekdays from 10 am to 8 pm and weekends from 10 am to 6 pm (Saturday) or 5 pm (Sunday), with the possibility of not working every weekend. The advisor will guide customers in selecting sofas, beds and accessories, delivering excellent service and contributing to sales targets. Competitive hourly pay of £12.71 and uncapped commission are provided.

Duties:

• Build natural connections with customers, listening and delivering expert advice.
• Confidently recommend the best product options, demonstrating product expertise.
• Guide customers through the buying journey, asking questions to find the perfect fit.
• Offer honest advice and accurate information to build trust.
• Maintain a stunning showroom, ensuring a consistent and beautiful customer journey.
• Contribute to team spirit by sharing tips, supporting colleagues, and creating a fun environment.

• Friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to connect with customers and deliver excellent service.
• No prior sales experience required; full training provided.
• Willingness to undergo a satisfactory DBS check.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including potential weekend shifts.
