Retail Supervisor

Location: 40/41 George Street, Hove, East Sussex BN3 3YB

Seeking a Retail Supervisor to lead a store team in Hove. The role offers 16 hrs/week with flexible scheduling, including availability on Sundays 8am-4:15pm and Monday‑Saturday 8am‑6:30pm, typically in 4‑hour shifts. The supervisor will support management, drive sales, and ensure high customer service standards. Opportunities exist to work additional hours.

Duties:

• Support the management team with day‑to‑day store operations
• Drive sales and achieve performance targets
• Deliver high‑quality customer service
• Keep shelves stocked and maintain store appearance
• Reduce shrinkage and prevent till errors
• Motivate the team and maintain a high‑energy environment
• Ensure targets are met and store runs smoothly

Requirements:

• Supervisory or team‑leader experience within a fast‑paced high‑street retailer (preferred)
• Understanding of retail Key Performance Indicators including sales, profit and service
• Ability to help others develop and improve their skills
• Willingness to carry out piercing services (training provided, not essential)
