Seasonal Store Colleague

Location: Brighton, UK

Seeking a Seasonal Store Colleague to support the store during the busy festive period. The role involves flexible shift patterns, including evenings and weekends, with availability required for key dates such as Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. The colleague will deliver excellent customer service and maintain store presentation standards.

Duties:

• Deliver a positive and welcoming experience for customers, providing support and product information where required.
• Support the achievement of store and team objectives through excellent customer service and product knowledge.
• Replenish stock and help ensure products are available and presented in line with company standards.
• Maintain high standards of presentation across the shop floor, ensuring fixtures, displays and stock areas remain clean, organised and well maintained.
• Complete operational tasks including processing transactions, stock handling and preparing deliveries.
• Use in-store technology and systems to support customer enquiries and daily store operations.
• Follow company policies, procedures and health and safety requirements at all times.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the effective day-to-day running of the store.
• Support with additional duties and tasks, as reasonably required, to contribute to the successful operation of the store during peak trading periods.

Requirements:

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Able to follow processes and maintain attention to detail.
• Retail experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, in line with business needs.
• Availability to work during the festive trading period, including key peak trading dates such as Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day where required.
