Supervisor

Seeking a Supervisor to lead shifts at Trading Post Coffee Roasters in Brighton. The role involves overseeing daily operations, supporting the team, and ensuring high standards of hospitality. Working hours are flexible, with both part‑time and full‑time availability.

Duties:

• Lead shifts to ensure every guest receives exceptional service.
• Support and motivate the team throughout busy services.
• Coach colleagues in delivering Trading Post hospitality standards.
• Help train and welcome new team members.
• Work alongside the management team to achieve sales, service and operational goals.
• Support the smooth running of the Coffee House by making confident decisions and resolving issues as they arise.
• Monitor standards of cleanliness, food safety and presentation throughout the venue.
• Lead by example, creating a positive atmosphere where the team can perform at their best.
• Jump in wherever needed, whether that's serving customers, making coffee or supporting the kitchen team.

Requirements:

• Previous experience within hospitality or customer service.
• Experience working in a busy hospitality environment.
• Experience supporting or supervising a team.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple demands.
• Passion for delivering exceptional hospitality.
• Ability to stay calm and organised under pressure.
• Reliable, proactive and eager to learn.
• Take ownership and make decisions with confidence.
• Take pride in delivering consistently high standards.
