Delivery Driver

Location: Brighton Carden Avenue Argos, Brighton, BN1 8LW

Seeking a part‑time Home Delivery Driver for Argos in Brighton, working 18 hrs/week across early (05:00‑12:30) and late (13:00‑21:00) shifts. The role involves delivering Argos products to customers’ doors and providing excellent doorstep service. Flexible availability is required to cover both shift patterns.

Duties:

• Driving a 3.5 tonne van to deliver a variety of products to customers' doorsteps, on-time and in great condition
• Completing checks to ensure the van is organised, clean and roadworthy, and that delivery cases are secure before getting out onto the road to drive safely in a variety of locations and conditions
• Serve our customers brilliantly, supporting with any questions and keeping them aware of any delays
• Confident in learning to use new technology to do your job brilliantly, comfortable driving a large vehicle in different locations from residential streets to country lanes
• When not on the road, you’ll help maintain a slick operation in the stock room or on the shop floor
• Build great knowledge about our products, services and promotions to help provide recommendations

Requirements:

• Must be over 18 and have held a full UK/EU driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points on it
• Must complete an online driving risk assessment and a driving assessment when joining
• Must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK
• Friendly and professional with genuine enthusiasm for understanding customers’ needs and providing a brilliant doorstep experience
• Confident driving a large vehicle safely and reliably in different locations
• Comfortable working at pace in a physical, high‑energy environment, taking initiative and working as part of a team
• Ready to work flexibly and productively to a high standard across the store when needed, with willingness to learn new skills
• Open to learning and using new digital tools and technology
