Shift Leader

Location: 194 Western Road, Brighton, BN1 2BA, UK

Seeking a Shift Leader to oversee store operations and deliver excellent customer experiences. The role guarantees at least 16 hours per week, with scheduled shifts based on availability windows including Monday and Wednesday mornings, Friday evenings, and Saturday afternoons. Flexible working is offered from day one.

Duties:

• Leading the team to deliver a great experience for customers in-store.
• Working across all areas of the store and with all colleagues, being the go-to person for day-to-day operational queries.
• Building positive, inclusive relationships that help colleagues perform at their best.
• Confidently leading the store in the Manager’s absence.
• Making balanced, flexible decisions and adapting well to change.
• Coaching colleagues, giving feedback and role modelling great service.
• Staying curious and seeking opportunities to serve our customers, communities, and planet a little better every day.

Requirements:

• To be over 18 for this role.
• Experience working in a team lead or management position in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Be a strong role model with a passion for delivering great service and ensuring every customer’s needs are met.
• Build positive, long lasting relationships to create an inclusive, supportive team environment.
• A clear communicator, using a variety of methods to keep the team well informed.
• A natural leader who motivates and inspires the team to deliver outstanding results.
