Kitchen Porter

Location: Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club, Brighton and Hove, BN1 9BL, UK

Seeking Kitchen Porters to join the team at Sodexo Live! at Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club for the 2026/27 Football Season. The role involves supporting busy kitchen operations across matchdays, conferences, concerts, and premium hospitality events. Working patterns feature flexible match days and non-match day events, including evening and weekend shifts.

Duties:

• Wash and clean kitchen equipment, utensils, crockery, cutlery, and glassware
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation across all kitchen and back-of-house areas
• Ensure all cleaning schedules and hygiene standards are followed
• Dispose of waste correctly and support recycling procedures where required
• Keep floors, surfaces, and workstations clean and hazard-free
• Support with kitchen setup and close-down procedures
• Ensure bins are emptied regularly and waste areas remain clean
• Follow all company food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures
• Support smooth kitchen operations during busy service periods

Requirements:

• Previous kitchen porter or cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
• Hardworking and reliable attitude
• Ability to work well within a fast-paced team environment
• Strong understanding of cleanliness and hygiene standards
• Positive attitude, good communication, and teamwork skills
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and event days
