Cleaner

Location: The Post & Telegraph, Brighton, UK

Seeking an enthusiastic and reliable individual to join the pub team as a Cleaner. The role offers 8 hrs/week, with shifts listed from 6:00 to 8:00 across Monday to Sunday, alongside flexible shift patterns including mornings, evenings, and weekends to maintain excellent standards of cleanliness.

Duties:

• Maintaining cleanliness in all customer, toilet, bar, kitchen, staff, and outside areas
• Completing daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks following standard operating procedures
• Following correct procedures when using cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Monitoring cleaning supplies and reporting any maintenance or pest-management issues to the manager on duty
• Interacting politely with customers and completing required training

Requirements:

• No experience is needed, but a good attitude, willingness to learn, and a calm head under pressure are required
• Must be reliable, friendly, and comfortable working as part of a team
• Must be suitable for early shift patterns and potential lone working, which may not be suitable for under-18s
