Postal Delivery Driver

Seeking a Postal Delivery Driver for a 12-month fixed-term contract delivering letters and parcels across Brighton. Working pattern covers 30 hours per week across 5 days in 7 (Monday - Sunday) with shifts between 7:45 - 13:45 or 14:00 - 20:00. Requires working Sunday shifts at Hove Delivery Office between 10:00 - 16:00.

Duties:

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office
• Deliver post by van and on foot in the local area
• Build relationships with customers
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions

Requirements:

• Full manual UK driving licence with a maximum of 6 penalty points
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and pass a driving assessment
• Physically fit and comfortable walking long distances, climbing stairs or hills, and lifting/carrying 10kg+ mailbags
• Reliable, self-motivated, and customer-focused with strong organisation skills
