Customer Team Member

Location: 119 London Road, Brighton, BN1 4JH

Seeking Customer Team Members to join the team at Co-op to play a key role in delivering friendly, helpful service in the local store. The role involves working as part of a team in a fast-moving store, assisting with store daily operations, bakery, post office, or online delivery picking and packing. Working patterns feature varied shifts including early mornings (store opening), afternoons, late evenings (store closing), and at least one weekend shift.

Duties:

• Support the day-to-day running of the store by delivering friendly and thoughtful service
• Work with the team to keep the store running smoothly
• Work hands-on on the shop floor and tills to contribute to daily operations
• Help maintain store performance by keeping shelves stocked and checking prices, dates, and stock accuracy
• Keep the store safe and legal by checking stock, prices, dates, and temperatures
• Promote Co-op Membership and support the local community

Requirements:

• A genuine passion for helping people and delivering great customer service
• The ability to work flexibly across a number of shifts and as part of a team
• An interest in retail and working in a busy store environment
