Conference & Banqueting Porter

Location: DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton Metropole, Brighton, UK

Seeking a Conference & Banqueting Porter to join the team on a flexible casual contract. The role involves setting up function rooms and maintaining inviting spaces to deliver exceptional guest experiences. Shifts include occasional early morning starts from 6:00 AM and late-night finishes up to 2:00 AM or 3:00 AM based on operational requirements.

Duties:

• Delight guests with an upbeat and friendly attitude and proactively look for ways to make their experience special
• Complete table and chair set up according to the requirements for each function
• Clean and prep banquet rooms, ensuring all walls and surfaces are spotless
• Monitor the banquet area and promptly address spills, discarded service items, and other issues

Requirements:

• Availability for occasional early morning shifts (starting at 6:00 AM) and late-night shifts (finishing at 2:00 AM or 3:00 AM)
• A passion for hospitality, teamwork, integrity, and personal accountability
