Customer Team Leader

Location: 119 London Road, Brighton, BN1 4JH

Seeking a Customer Team Leader to lead a small team in a fast-paced store and deliver essential services to the local community. The role involves running the day-to-day operations on shift, working hands-on across the shop floor and tills, and supporting store performance. Working pattern includes varied shifts such as early mornings for store opening, afternoons, late evenings for store closing, and at least one weekend shift.

Duties:

• Own the day-to-day running of the store by leading the team on shift
• Motivate, coach, and support the team to deliver great service and efficient operations
• Work hands-on on the shop floor and tills, supporting daily operations and setting the pace
• Support store performance through merchandising, stock accuracy, and HR processes
• Champion Co-op through community engagement and membership growth

Requirements:

• Must be aged 18+ to authorise age-related sales
• Passion for people and leadership
• The ability to work flexibly and lead by example
• Skills in retail, merchandising, or team management
