Apprentice Technician

Location: Brighton, UK

Seeking an Apprentice Vehicle Technician for the BMW Brighton location. The role provides on‑the‑job training and apprenticeship qualifications while earning a salary. The position includes a comprehensive benefits package such as annual leave, retail discounts and a pension scheme.

Duties:

• Service vehicles by carrying out checks and maintenance in accordance with brand guidelines.
• Identify, repair and replace faulty components and parts.
• Liaise with Service Advisors about required repairs or vehicle work.
• Maintain repair and service records.
• Keep the work bay and surrounding area tidy.
• Consider the customer impact on any activity with the vehicle, demonstrating a customer‑centric approach.
• Satisfy the academic requirements of the apprenticeship by engaging with the provider and ensuring course progress.
• Perform additional tasks as required.

Requirements:

• Punctuality and strong timekeeping.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Strong team player and communication skills.
• Drive to exceed targets.
• GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths, English and Science.
